Jens is cofounder of Tradia. He served as President and CEO of the 
company until March of 2000. Jens co-founded PostModern Computing 
in 1991 and served as its Chairman and CEO until April 1996 when 
PostModern merged with Visigenic Software. After the merger, Jens 
served on the Visigenic Board of Directors and as its CTO through 
Visigenic's IPO in August of 1996 and until the acquisition of 
Visigenic by Borland International (Inprise Corporation) in 
February 1998. Jens holds a PhD (1991) in computer science from 
Stanford University and a BA from Columbia University.
